Training / Experience-
I studied architecture in Dublin and Hull and worked as an architect and landscape architect in a number of countries before focusing full time on art in 1998. In 2001 I built a studio at my home and this is open by appointment to the public.
I work in various disciplines and media, photographic, sculpture and bookmaking, refining processes and skills within and across each practise. I have run a variety of workshops; from a week in Lisbon with architectural students exploring placing textile forms in external spaces to photography and basket workshops with adults, high school pupils and primary school pupils.
I am learning Gaelic and completed An Cùrsa Inntrigidh at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, the gaelic college on Skye, in 2003.
