My exhibition 'five plants' was part of this art festival in the north of Germany. My work looked at five particular plants; heather, birch, soft rush, hair moss and willow, which were all used in the past for rope making and other practical jobs. I used the plants themselves to make five plant pieces and had a photographic sculptural piece of each plant as well, comparing their different innate qualities.
