My photography started with investigating the marks on the landscape, the changing light highlighting past presences. These are mostly black and white and working within the square format. I have developed my visual enquiries to seek to express something more within an image, a layered approach similar to the landscape itself. Now I am exploring images using colour, larger scale, printing onto different materials, combining with text and working in diptychs and triptychs. Underlying these images is an appreciation of the mathematical order which underpins all functions of growth, decay and its inherent beauty.
