My work consisted of; Presence 1, a series of five lines made using thin layers of peat applied directly to the gallery wall, this referenced both the actual marks made on the landscape as well as our changing physical involvement with the earth itself. A second piece, Presence 2 was a series of five words; Absence, Abundance, Essence, Sustenance and Silence which referenced this work. The words were placed around the gallery in subtle locations.
